Christmas Cheesy Potatoes

1 large package frozen shredded hash browns
2 can cream of chicken soup
1 cup sour cream
1 dry Ranch dressing packet*
1 tsp garlic or onion powder
1 small onion, sauteed in butter
2 cups shredded cheddar chesse
salt and pepper to taste
Mix the above ingredients together in a large bowl. Spray 9x13 pan with non-stick spray and place potato mixture in pan. Top with either bread crumbs or crushed corn flakes that have been mixed in about 1/3 cup melted butter.
Bake for 1 hour in a preheated 350 degree oven.
I love potatoes and cheese. It should be a very palatable recipe. I am going to try it this weekend. Thank you for sharing this via this blog. I must adore it.
